Why won’t Shaq STFU?

Anybody know why Shaq won’t shut the fuck up? This dumb ass is forever putting people’s names in his mouth. Look. Kobe shat on you man when he was being questioned and he mentioned your name. That was wrong that was wrong that was wrong. You could have handled that shit in any number of ways but you choose to start doing it too. Look. If yall know Shaq… tell him that his charm and appeal will wear thin eventually. Someone will get off his jock and stop seeing him in the favorable light and start looking at him in a more revealing light.

Truth is, Shaq is the TO of the NBA. He will throw coaches and players under the bus in a heart beat. And just like TO no matter what he adds to your team, he will also detract too. He needs to be the center (pardon the pun) of attention and frankly it is getting old. Give Shaq a little time and let him find himself out of the playoffs and he will deflect the attention away from himself and like a small child, he will find a way to place blame on someone else.

Shaq is coasting on the fumes of his reputaion. He has always been teamed up with a more skilled ’sidekick’ who, when crunch time rolls around, is on the floor shooting free throws because the big man is too busy trying to be funny to get a shot that doesn’t involve elbowing and running over smaller men to go down. It is time for this man to ride off into the sunset and shut the fuck up. Stop nicknaming yourself every month. Stop trying to shit on cats in the media and quit hating on the young guys who have already replaced you on the court. The game has passed you by.

And as for the media…. QUIT putting a fuckin mic in front of this dumbass. His speech impediment is no longer funny and when are you going to wise up to the fact that it’s all smoke and mirrors and it has been since he left to go to Miami. STOP. Be responsible journalist and quit running to this guy for sound bites. We don’t give a fuck what Shaq thinks. We don’t. It’s time you do the same.

Lebron Lebron Lebron….

The NBA finials will not feature Lebron James. No one is more upset about this than James himself. After his team lost to the Orlando Magic, who outplayed them throught the series, James walked off the court without acknowledging the victors. The next day he made some half assed statement about being a winner. A winner? A winner of what? Maybe a winner of regular season games. He won the MVP. But he has never won the title. That’s what makes a winner. Rather, I believe only one group gets to claim to be the winner at the end of the season and this year, as in the previous years, Lebron James cannot claim to be in this group.

Here is where it gets good. I don’t have much faith that James will ever win a title. He will always be a flashy Karl Malone. No one would argue that he isnt outstanding to watch but look at his prospects of winning. There is a lot of New York talk but really? Stop it people. If he can’t win in Cleavland with the team he has then there is no way he can win in New York. They will be YEARS trying to undo the accounting clusterfuck the former GM left them. In fact I think between Allen Houston, Marberry and the young lady who won her sexual assault lawsuit, the Knicks will be over the cap for the next five years!

James may be able to win a title towards the end of his career like Kevin Garnet. But like Garnet, he will need to pay his dues and spend 12 years being the one horse in the stable. If you really followed the NBA you knew there was a point in there for a good 10 year stretch where even if you didn’t think Kevin was the best player in the game, you knew why he was in the conversation. That will be Lebron. He will not leave Cleavland when the time comes. He will want to ‘be the man’ so he will not want to join someone else’s team.

SO that leaves his only real hope. That the Cavs can get an aging vet to bow down to the young man who would be king of nothing at all. Someone get Shaq on the line. I suppose Lebron can hope that Tim Duncan comes through. I hear Allen Iverson will be available. Hey. Grant Hill is still around too. I think if they can get Tracy Mcgrady then they have a nice volatile mix. Remember boys and girls… Tracy and Vince Carter broke up their Batman and Robin because they just assumed they were Pippen and Jordan and naan one of them wanted to be Pippen.

But hey, Clyde Drexler did it. Someone who has Lebron’s ear tell him o stop allowing them to call him king until he has a ring and whoever has his ear, tell him that there is no real way to not look like a punk ass when you did not win your last game of the year yet you call yourself a winner. Win a title. Meanwhile. Stand up and take the blame the same way you take the credit. Punk ass.

What the fuck do terrorist have against NYC?

SO I’m up late because by this point in my life i don’t know how not to be. I am changing channels and Anderson Cooper is on the phone with some NYC official saying the FBI just stopped some terrorist plot to blow up a temple. I was too busy cussing to hear much but I did hear that they were muslim and that they had a stinger missile. I also heard they wanted to blow up air planes too!?

What the fuck?! Why do terrorist hate NYC so much? I mean… I hate NYC too so I live down south and move real slow and accept that I cant get a good bagel or knish. I’ll take the grass and the space and the lack of congestion. Its a trade off I have chosen to accept. I cannot figure out why these people keep trying to attack New York. I don’t get it. I don’t get any of it to tell the truth. Why are these people always claiming my religion? God hasn’t told you to kill anyone. Wrong wrong wrong. And what do they hope to achieve?

I tell you what… they do have one thing right… they should kill themselves. But they should do it in the middle of nowhere. Alone. And that way they can tell themselves whatever bullshit they want to. They can claim God told them to do it and say it was in effort to do whatever! Just leave those of us who rather be here alone. And stop saying God told you to do this dumb shit! At least be a man and admit that this is some dumb shit you wanted to do and so you did it.

Take A Picture

Look. I’m on record as saying I hate pictures. I lost a good friend because I refused to take a picture. For years I quoted what I attributed to the Hopi tribe, a quote about pictures. “If you take a picture you take a piece of the soul.” I always followed that statement up by saying that I didn’t necessarily believe that but what if its true?

That said, I think a picture is a special thing that may or may not have a piece of who you are in it. In my opinion, then, there are good pictures and bad pictures. Some people are always willing to get into a photo op. There are some pictures you shouldn’t take. If you Google Chicago Ghetto Prom Pictures I think you will find a few pictures of my cousin ‘n’em, in some shots that they should never have taken. When I see those pics the only thing I can think is…. they posed for that? Questionable decision. But hey. Other than being funny for people who don’t know and being a source of shame for those of us who do, the multiple underage girls backshot in matching Gucci homemade dresses doesn’t hurt anyone. The big girl in the middle might make someone cringe but no one panics. (She doesn’t know that thongs are not for everyone…) Its just a dumb ass picture. Terrible judgement. Not harmful. Not Criminal.

However, when the government wastes fuel flying a jumbo jet and two fighter jets in and around the New York New Jersey area given all the things those people have had to deal with, its beyond reckless. It might just be criminal. It is certainly more than just bad judgement. The media outlets I read and watch claimed people poured out of their apartments and offices fearing the worse. And for what? So the white house could get a good picture of the presidential jet? Anybody bother explaining to these muthafuckers what Photoshop is?

Dumb ass.

You cant sell fiscal responsibility when you waste money scaring the shit out of people. If you had a decent IT department you could have saved money.  So how do we deal with this and other poor judgement issues that our new president finds himself in? How do we approach the white house if and when they make mistakes?

We should not be any harder on Obama  or any easier on him than we would be with any one else. Hold this white house to the same standard anyone else (white) would be held to. This photo op was a dumb ass move and someone should loose their job over it. I wouldn’t be mad if someone was charged with conspiracy to incite a riot. But if they wont seek charges against people who tortured because their bosses told them to, then this won’t ever get to that point. How could it?
